As a Mould (Mechanical) Engineer at Ciner Glass, you will help shape our glass bottles in our moulding department and ensure that they are always in top condition. Thanks to your technical expertise, eye for precision and constant focus on maintenance and optimisation, you will guarantee that every bottle meets the highest quality standards right from the start.
In collaboration with colleagues from production, engineering and maintenance, you will work on sustainable solutions and flawless mould management.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Ensuring a smooth production process
- Correct and timely execution of mould purchases, maintenance and inspection
- Developing maintenance plans, monitoring the purchasing process and stock management
- Quality assurance of mould maintenance through inspections, audits and accurate follow-up
- Responsible for calibration and verification processes for measuring instruments.
- Drawing up a task schedule together with the Mould Team Lead and ensuring optimal staffing levels
- Carrying out tests on new moulds and monitoring maintenance statistics
Innovation, Optimisation & Projects
- Supervising technical projects, from revisions to investments in maintenance technology
- Translating technical requirements into proposals for improvement and innovation
- Monitoring trends and developments within the field and making recommendations
- Actively participating in audits, sustainability projects and process optimisation initiatives
- Drawing up reports, recording activities and analysing process data for continuous improvement
Consultation, Training & Safety
- Monitoring safety procedures and organising on-the-job training
- Actively contributing to compliance with ISO, HACCP, BRC and other standards within the company
- Promoting a culture of craftsmanship, tidiness and responsibility
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electromechanics, mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in mould maintenance, preferably in an industrial production environment (metal, plastic, glass, etc.)
- Good knowledge of maintenance management and reporting tools
- Practical experience with mechanical overhaul, measurement and inspection
- Technical problem-solving skills and a sense of quality and precision
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments
- Willingness to occasionally work outside office hours
- Good verbal and written command of Dutch and English
