Questions about the organisation

The first glass furnace will become operational in Q2 of 2026. An exciting moment we’re working towards every day! Until then, we will not only be building our state-of-the-art factory, but also a strong team of flesseniers who want to make a difference. Those who join us today will be involved from the start. You will literally help write the success story of Ciner Glass in Belgium.

Unfortunately, our organisation is not (yet) directly accessible by public transport. We provide the necessary parking for cyclists, mopeds and cars.

In the 6-shift system, you work a 38-hour week and follow the shift schedule. If you work day shifts, you work a 40-hour week, with or without a flexible schedule.
-
We deliberately opted for an innovative 6-shift system that gives you peace of mind and helps you plan ahead. You only work 2 weekends out of 6 and also get 2 weeks of day shifts (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) within your shift schedule. This ensures a healthy variety, sufficient recovery time and more predictability in your schedule, even in the long term.
This unique system is not only good for you, but also for the quality of our production and cooperation. Because when you feel good, you perform better. And that is precisely why we invest in smart working structures and people who want to move forward from day one.

Dutch is our working language, especially for operators and technical positions. English is used here and there for support, but it is certainly not a must for everyone. For some employees, knowledge of English may be important, but in that case, you will clearly see this in the job description.
-
Before production officially starts, you will receive a comprehensive training program that is both general and fully tailored to your position. This training can be mixed with alternative tasks depending on the start-up phase. This allows you to get to know the technology, your colleague-flesseniers and your role at your own pace, while already making a real impact. You will grow with the company, right from the start. And that is a unique opportunity!
