As Mould Manager at Ciner Glass, you are one of the driving forces behind a flawless technical production process.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Operational Management
- Develop and optimize maintenance plans for moulds to prevent unplanned downtime and ensure product quality
- Coordinate rapid and accurate troubleshooting and perform root cause analyses
- Oversee departmental projects, analyze KPIs, and adjust where necessary
- Supervise parts inventory management, analyze wear and tear, and liaise with purchasing in a timely manner
- Participate in company and management meetings and translate outcomes to shop floor teams
- Lead technical projects such as overhauls, modifications, and investments in moulds and maintenance techniques
- Manage departmental budgets and contribute to annual budget planning
Quality and Safety
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards within mould maintenance and provide proper documentation and reporting in line with company policies
- Implement methodologies like Lean or TPM and encourage a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor processes for accuracy and effectiveness, and intervene where needed to guarantee quality
- Safeguard documentation, archiving, and confidential processing of process information
Leadership and Team Development
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of mould technicians and schedule their work based on production and maintenance needs
- Coach and motivate your team toward autonomy and craftsmanship
- Allocate tasks efficiently and ensure optimal staffing aligned with the production schedule
Process Optimization and Innovation
- Help build a future-oriented and reliable maintenance strategy
- Work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and external partners to ensure optimal use of the mould fleet
- Initiate improvement projects in maintenance processes and technical efficiency
- Contribute to decisions on investments, modernization of maintenance techniques, and the implementation of innovative tools and methodologies
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in (Electro)Mechanics, Maintenance Technology, or a similar technical field
- Several years of relevant work experience in technical maintenance/mould construction, preferably in a highly automated production environment or in the glass, metal, or plastics industry
- Knowledge of mould maintenance, tool management, and maintenance planning systems (e.g., EAM/CMMS)
- Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience leading a technical team and managing projects
- Familiarity with quality, safety, and environmental standards within production (ISO, VCA, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect across disciplines
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
