As a Material Storage Officer at Ciner Glass Belgium, you will maintain the MRO and packaging warehouse. Daily tasks consist of goods receipt, storage, control and issuance of maintenance, repair and operating materials. In this role, you maintain high equipment availability through efficient inventory management, accurate data processing and coordination with maintenance, procurement and production teams.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks
MRO Warehouse Operations
- Run MRO Warehouse operations, ensuring materials are available to support 24/7 production
- Handle goods receipt, inspection, picking and dispatch according to safety and quality procedures
- Maintain accurate stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages or obsolescence
- Monitor maintenance spare parts levels, including min/max levels and critical spare lists
- Prepare timely staging and return of parts for scheduled and emergency maintenance activities
Inventory & Storage
- Flag issues to maintenance planners to align material availability with preventive maintenance schedules
- Work with Osapiens & SAP HANA to align upcoming PM actions
- Take part in the storage team to assure excellent parts availability and inventory accuracy with the warehouse team across all shifts
Quality, Audit & Continuous Improvement
- Run cycle counts and physical inventory checks as needed
- Suggest improvements to warehouse lay-out, storage systems and material flows to support lean and safe operations
- Collaborate with purchasing to evaluate supplier returns, warranty claims and material quality issues
- Maintain data and run regular reports on stock accuracy, service level, and requisition lead time
- Adherence to EHS regulations and plant-specific standards for hazardous and critical items (lubricants, tools, PPE, etc.)
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
- Education: experience in industrial warehousing or maintenance logistics
- Experience: minimum 3 years in spare parts or technical warehouse management, preferably in continuous or 24/7 production environments
- Technical skills: familiarity with mechanical/electrical parts, MRO categories, SAP S/4 HANA, Osapiens
- Languages: very good level of Dutch and English
- Licenses: forklift licence or willingness to obtain it
- Knowledge of ISO and safety regulations applicable to industrial storage
