As a BOM & Master Data Specialist at Ciner Glass, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and planning processes by managing and optimizing master data and Bills of Materials (BOMs). You actively work with SAP, where you are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and improving master data and BOMs, thereby contributing to reliable data for planning, production, and reporting.

Core responsibilities & main tasks
BOM & Data Management
Creating, maintaining and optimising (multi-level) BOMs for spare parts, MRO items and packaging materials in SAP S/4HANA
Managing alternative BOMs and production versions for different lines and configurations
Validating BOMs in line with current specifications and approved materials, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Coordinating and implementing changes via change management processes (ECR/ECO)
Master Data Management & Governance
End-to-end management of material master data (raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products and consumables)
Monitoring data quality and consistency across different systems and departments
Implementing and monitoring data standards, naming conventions and classifications
Carrying out regular checks and data cleansing to avoid errors and duplicates
Analysis & Operational Support
Supporting production and planning through the accurate and timely availability of master data
Analysing production issues linked to master data and proposing structural solutions
Monitoring parameters that impact planning and production
Managing a structured library of packaging materials
Compliance & Reporting
Ensuring that all data and processes comply with internal guidelines and external requirements
Maintaining accurate documentation for audit purposes
Supporting internal and external audits and acting as the point of contact for master data matters
Process Improvement & Projects
Identifying improvements in master data and BOM processes
Developing tools and reports to monitor data quality and performance
Contributing to SAP and other digitalisation projects
Reporting on KPIs relating to data quality and process performance
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT or similar, or equivalent through experience
At least 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (preferably PP/MM)
Experience managing BOMs and master data in an ERP environment
Good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes (MRP, routings, etc.)
Fluent in Dutch and English
