Foreign Investor of the Year Award

On November 6, we at Ciner Glass had the honor of receiving the Foreign Investor of the Year award at the Flanders International Business Awards 2024.

This prestigious award, presented by Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), recognizes companies that make a global impact while strengthening Flanders as an innovative and sustainable economy. It is a great privilege to have been awarded this prize.

Open Company Day Ciner Glass 2024

The Open Company Day at the Ciner Glass site was a great success. On Sunday, October 6, we had the opportunity to share information about our plans in Lommel and the production process with over 1,100 visitors. Thank you to everyone who took the time to get to know us better.

Workr Festival 2024

Ciner Glass was present for three days at the Workr Festival in Lommel. It was not only an important opportunity to showcase ourselves as a new organization but also to bring colleagues together.

Ciner Glass is part of the global Ciner Group, a family-owned company with Turkish roots. It is headquartered in London. Ciner Glass has ambitions to become the world leader in glass packaging. Ciner Glass has been producing glass bottles and jars at its Turkish glass factory in Bozüyük since 2013. Every year, 2.4 billion pieces are produced here for customers in the beverage and food industry.

In 2018, it was decided to roll out our operations internationally. The new glass production facility is currently being built in Lommel, representing an investment of more than 600 million euros and 500 jobs. It will be the most modern, sustainable and efficient glass factory in Europe! Start-up of production is expected in the second quarter of 2026.
