As Teamleader Electrical Utilities, you are a crucial link within the technical team at Ciner Glass. You will lead the team responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the electrical utilities in our state-of-the-art production facility in Lommel. Your mission is to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient operational infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with your colleagues from the technical department as well as other involved departments.
Initially, you will focus on overseeing the electrical utilities work on site. After this phase, you will take on the role of Team Leader Electrical Utilities.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Teamwork en Leadership
- Lead, coach, and inspire the Electrical Utilities team
- Coordinate daily activities and provide technical support
- Ensure the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of electrical installations, low- and high-voltage systems, and utilities
- Guarantee smooth and reliable production processes
Problem-solving and support
- Analyse malfunctions and implement structural solutions, focusing on continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Support and advise other departments on electricity and utilities within the production environment
Innovation, Optimisation and Projects
- Actively contribute to investment projects, follow up on expansions, modifications, commissioning, and guide external partners
Consultation, Training & Safety
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations regarding electrical utilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance plans and inspections to safeguard safety, availability, and operational reliability
- Maintain accurate technical documentation
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Technical secondary education diploma with bachelor-level thinking or a Bachelor in Electromechanics
- At least 5 years of experience with industrial electrical installations and utilities in a production environment
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems: high voltage, low voltage, electrical distribution, protections, etc.
- Knowledge of maintenance methodologies, troubleshooting, and optimization in utility environments
- Familiarity with relevant electricity, safety, and environmental regulations
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Strong analytical abilities, structured working approach, and a proactive attitude
- Experience with maintenance software (ERP/CMMS) and willingness to work with modern technologies
- A coaching leadership style, persuasiveness, and a hands-on mentality
